Lake Brownwood Community Development Council in partnership with Brown County Water Improvement District's Lake Patrol held the Lakeshore Cleanup on Saturday, April 20th, 2013.

Lake Patrol Officer Troy Henderson said “Thank you to the Volunteers who showed up to help and to
Republic Services for providing the dumpster. The cleanup helped clear litter and debris from portions of the shoreline for a more enjoyable experience for everyone visiting Lake Brownwood this summer.”

Ron Watson, LBCDC (former) President said, “We also want to thank Boy Scout Troop 22 in Early for all they did to clean the shoreline. We hope to have another cleanup in the near future.”

Lake Brownwood Community Development Council presented the Christmas Decoration Award to Jerry and Genny Moore  at 9034 Wildwood Trail, Wildwood Mesa, Lake Brownwood. The Moores had the assistance of their 4 and 5 year old grandchildren to help them with the decorating.
