The Lake Brownwood Community Development Council is an organization formed to provide, maintain and support an association for the purpose of advancing the community of Lake Brownwood, Brown County, Texas.

In 2002, approximately 43 Brownwood Lake area merchants and residents met at the Texas 4-H Center with the purpose of forming an organization that would work to make the Lake more appealing for businesses, tourists and residents.
The LBCDC came together with goals that included a desire to improve Lake Brownwood as a vacation destination and a beautiful place to live while also promoting the area as a great retirement location. |
